Professor Conny is back on track. After a couple of weeks of rest to recover from her ankle injury, she got back to the place where she left the trail: Zumaia. From Zumaia she walked towards Ermita del Calvario, her stop for the night after 20 kilometres. To get there she had to pass the bridge of Deba, where an emergency bridge was placed on top of the old bridge when the original collapsed.

After a day of steep paths and extra kilometres due to a detour, Professor Conny celebrated that her ankle fully recovered and that she is back on track to raise money and awareness for Chromosome 6 research. Professor Conny is walking 1200 kilometres towards Santiago de Compostela to reach money for Chromosome 6 research. Read more about her walk and her goals in this blog post.

In the past days she has walked 128 kilometres over steep and winding paths, through fields and forests. The weather was very changeable: from bright sunny days to a rainy windy day on the path leading to Bilbao. In Bilbao she visited the city and, of course, the Guggenheim museum.
